well, i suppose courage is subjective. You can't really measure it. But it seems that she spent most of her time as mayor and governor pressing DC for porkbarrel money. she may have run as an outsider, but once she got in, she grubbed for money like the rest of alaskan politicians do.

what does palin have that obama doesn't??? you're talking about "down there"?

she has glasses...a husband...a recipe for mooseburgers...a paper-thin resume...her own airplane...she has the courage to believe the earth is 6,000 years old - that takes guts...a history of raising taxes...a home-state congressional investigation into her ethics as mayor...a zeal for banning books...she has zero foreign policy experience...she even has a record of not having a record of any thoughts on anything related foreign policy...she has the experience of running a 527 for Stevens (what a maverick!)...she has an AIP membership card...

i could go on all day.
