3,000 Images from The Library of Congress

Publicly available on Flickr and open for tagging and comments.  I'm guessing this would have exploded Thomas Jefferson's mind.

I might particularly recommend the pictures from the 1930s and 1940s in color.  The past isn't so far away after all.


This is the Roger's pea canning plant in my parents home town of Milton-Freewater, Oregon taken in 1941.
